So let me start with the good first. At this gym I find many of the trainers very helpful. They bend over backwards to help, to assist and instruct.

I HATE leaving bad reviews. Hate this.
So let me start with the good first. At this gym I find many of the trainers very helpful. They bend over backwards to help, to assist and instruct.
Now, the bad.
There is one member in the gym that has a habit that is a very big problem. She takes a cup from the water reservoir and leaves these on the machines where other people train. If the water is spilled, is it sanitary? Is SHE infected with COVID? We do not know because there is no check at the front desk.
Different stages on this were taken. First, my wife spoke to management. Result, no success. Second, I spoke to management, being American it seemed as though this was the proper procedure. Result, again, no success. Third, a review espousing this problem and then there was a response which gave me the opportunity to speak with the manager. I mentioned about taking away the cups, in theory this would eliminate these cups being left on the machines. But was told this would not be fair to the people that were not guilty of this. Then asked if the janitorial staff would just pick them up and throw them into the garbage. I was told no, they refused to do this. And these are the same people that must clean waste from the toilets. They do this but refuse to throw away the cups of water? I understand why because this is disgusting and completely unsanitary. And the pandemic of COVID could VERY easily provide an epidemic within the club itself.
Wondering what the agencies that are in charge of keeping this epidemic from spreading to more people would think about these facts.
And the one that gets me is, the janitorial staff will not throw away the cups because it is too dirty. But the toilets, yeah, they’re quite fine.
Curious minds want to know what should be done….

We know about the problem what bothers you. Our managers've already talked to the member and she promised she doesn't take cups in this way anymore. If the situation wll repeat, please, say about it our trainers cause they know what to do.

We understand you were upset by our janitorial staff but they couldn't help you because they didn't know who had left the cup and if someone would return for it. They shouldn't touch client's things. And it doesn't matter there is the pandemic of COVID or not.
We're really upset you think that our gym haven't a check at the front desk. It's not true. We bought the special system for temperature measurement at the reception. Please always use it when you visit the gym.
We hope the situation didn't ruin your good attitude to our gym. We always listen to you but sometimes we need little time to fix problems.
